For a small donation of $25 to The Ark, YOU can officially “Adopt-a-Mom” for Mother’s Day in honor or in memory of a mom who has touched your life in a major way.
Each precious lady will receive a fresh flower bouquet and
a custom-designed card with YOUR unique message of love and support.
For 35 years The Ark has provided emergency financial assistance to low-income individuals and families in Athens and surrounding counties. The neighbors we help have experienced an unexpected job loss, reduction in hours, a medical crisis, or have had an unexpected expense that puts them in jeopardy of being evicted or losing utilities.
HOW TO ADOPT-A-MOM:
Step 1: After making note of which mom(s) you wish to adopt from the list below, click "Register and pay" to open a Stripe window. Enter the amount of your donation in multiples of $25.
Step 2: If you wish to adopt a specific mom, enter her name(s) and enter your unique message (all optional).
Step 3: If you want The Ark to choose for you, simply leave that section blank on the Stripe registration and payment page.
Step 4: To pay by credit/debit, Apple or Google Pay, follow the instructions on the Stripe payment page.
To pay by check, please mail to The Ark, 640A Barber St., Athens, GA 30601. Please note "Adopt-a-Mom" in the memo on your check.
