Last year, 502 children in our community faced the terrifying possibility of losing their home. We stepped in to make sure their story didn't end in a shelter, keeping the lights on and their worlds stable.
As of early 2026, roughly 49% of households with children in Clarke County are headed by a single parent. This is significantly higher than the national average (roughly 34%), meaning nearly half the moms in our backyard are doing it alone.
