Rock the Ark benefit show infuses local music with community eviction prevention

"After an icy weekend in Athens, a coat-clad audience filled the Georgia Theatre on the evening of Jan. 28. Attendees beat the cold to enjoy the Rock the Ark benefit concert, soundtracked by local bands Karma Kat and Wim Tapley & The Cannons. All proceeds from the show directly benefitted The Ark United Ministry Outreach Center, a pillar of support for the Athens community since 1989."
