The Ark has served the community now for over 37 years. Our goal in the Athens & surrounding area community is to provide a bridge to our low-income working neighbors when they experience a sudden loss of income or unexpected expense. When our neighbors reach us we want to be able to alleviate the immediate emergency, and then work towards providing them tools towards self-sustainability like financial education & micro lending program to improve credit scores & get them out of predatory lending. By becoming a partner at The Ark you are furthering our goals and mission.
